We just discovered a little gem this past weekend at Del Amo Mall. I took my daughter and her little friend to a FREE Radio Disney event at So Fresh Market - right on the parking lot behind the AMC theatres. I think we're going back this weekend for all Hawaiian music, hula and crafters. They cater to young families with free kids crafts, live music and family entertainment every weekend! It's like a farmers market, outdoors in the parking lot, very clean and friendly. I bought a ton of really fresh, beautiful produce at great prices. Their website is www.sofreshmarket.com. I hope they stay around cuz we need more of these kinds of family friendly events in the South Bay!

Most theaters offer free family movies on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 10 am.

I recently moved back to the south bay and with two children 2 and 1 years of age. I realized we need to meet other mommies with the same interest so I started a meetup.com group for mainly stay at home moms so we can enjoy play dates, outings as families and much more fun activities. If you find yourself also in the same situation as me, check out meetup.com, we are Beach Cities Hip Mamas. It's a free membership, although you do have to attend a meet and greet prior to becoming an official member. If you live in the South Bay and are a stay at home mom to toddlers or infants please check it out.
