Hi Lety,
You and your friend should look into South Bay Adult School at: http://www.southbayadult.org/ . Their parenting classes are both fun and educational. As your baby grows they will begin to interact with the other children in the class. The tuition is very reasonable as it is subsidized by the State of California. Fall classes begin the week of September 8th.

Hey, I am a new mom. my son is 7 months old and I have another one on the way. I have a friend who has a 1 yr old daughter as well and we are looking for things to do like the mommy and me classes and stuff like that in the South Bay area. If you guys know of any events coming up please let me know because being at home all the time is getting to me and I want my son to interact with other babies his age... Thank you for your time...

I teach a parent ed. class for the South Bay Adult School called Outdoor as a Classroom on Thus. year-round. We meet at parks in the South Bay in the morning and afternoon (separate classes) I bring my guitar, basket of books and art. It's open for kids 2 to 6 years old. Dear South Bay Mom,

I just wanted to say,"Thank You" for all the useful information that you have provided to me. I have been a proud "stay-at-home" dad for the past four years and a couple of more months. I have an 8-year old and a soon to be 3-year old. My family and I moved to the South Bay over a year ago from Chicago, Illinois.

Information like this is priceless. Today is the 27th of June,2008, and I just wished I would've found your site when we first moved here.

Being a great parent at home is a full time job, and I can imagine running a site like this is another full time job, so thanks for your time.

We love this area(The South Bay),and thanks to you we will be doing lots of the activites that you provided.
